Ang Lee’s “Taking Woodstock”
Demetri Martin, Emille Hirsch, Eugene Levy
It looks quirky and hilarious with and is guaranteed to have a fantastic soundtrack! Stoked to see Demetri Martin in this too.
Terry Gilliam’s “Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”
Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Colin Farrell, Christopher Plummer
Fuck YES. Terry Gilliam can do no wrong. Being Heath Ledger’s last performance, it’s kinda expected this flick will do well. Though I think how they picked up Johnny Depp, Jude law and Colin Farrell to finish the role will be really interesting. Though, I have no faith in Jude Law. Anyone remember “Alfie”? But, Tom Waits as the Devil is a match made in cinematic heaven.
Lars von Trier’s “Antichrist”
Willem Dafoe, Charlotte Gainsbourg
This looks like it may actually creep me out. It’s been a while since a movie has done so to me. I liked Charlotte Gainsbourg in “I’m Not There”, and well… Willem Dafoe is boss. The trailer looks really intriguing, especially the last shot.

Quentin Tarrantino’s “Iglorious Basterds”
Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Eli Roth
Tarrantino flicks are always a no brainer for me, I’m a sucker for ‘em. This one looks gnarly as FUCK. I have high expectations for there to be more flake blood and guts than you can shake a stick at. The more disturbing and intense this movie is, the better. Fuck yes.
