oh, blade runner.

what a weird movie. honestly, that’s the best way i can describe it. weird.
a] the lighting. why is everything so god damn dark, but there always seems to be search lights shining in every window. and when harrison ford is at tyrell, he says it’s too bright to do the replicant test… even though it’s at DUSK. jesus harry, i didn’t think an almost setting sun let off THAT much light.
b] the fact harrison ford’s character is super macho and mysteriously tough to EVERYONE… but turns into a fumbling moron who can’t fight when he’s up against a replicant. mind you, they are out to kill him too… but isn’t that his job? to kill these things? and wasn’t he tapped because he’s GOOD at it? the only skill the man has is decent aim on his bazooka hand gun and sputtering like a fool.
c] the sex scene. it was like a border line rape scene. how he slammed the door, and then proceeded to tell her what to say while he held her place. jesus harry. it even looked like she was faking it after.
d] there must’ve been like.. 20 pages of dialouge. tops. most of this movie was made up of weird noises in all the dive apartments and sketch streets.
e] when rachel takes down her hair out those uber sleek bun things… her hair magically becomes curly as fuck. like bitch got a perm between scenes or something.

f] the completely random, but very convenient part when roy just so happens to be clutching a token dove. which he releases as he dies. aw. where did he find a dove? and one so WHITE in such a gross city? now if he just so happened to release a pigeon…
